MV Family Center

The MV Family Center connects families with resources within our community and provides education and support to parents/caregivers of children ages 0-8, including the prenatal and pre-adoptive period.  The Center is an Island hub where parents can get support in navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood. Island Wide Youth Collaborative

The Island Wide Youth Collaborative (IWYC), a Massachusetts Family Resource Center, provides services for at-risk families, young people and community members ages 0-24. The goal of a Family Resource Center is to support families to strengthen their bonds, connect to others and engage in their community. Learn more.

Head Start is a national program committed to giving every child the opportunity to succeed in school and life beyond school. The Island Autism Group

The Island Autism Group, Inc., IAG, is a well-established 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves autistic children and their families on Martha’s Vineyard. IAG has helped autistic children on the Island access extracurricular programs, equipment and any other resources necessary and beneficial for their development. IAG works closely with teachers, therapists, parents, friends, and partner organizations interested in supporting those with autism. Learn more.

Island Grown Schools

Island Grown Schools (IGS) empowers a new generation of children to make healthy eating choices, learn to grow food, and connect to local farms. IGS brings garden-based learning, healthy, locally grown food, and hands-on farm experiences, working with all seven seven public schools on the Island and with nine preschools, and reach more than 2,300 students from 2-18 years old. We lead over 1,000 lessons each year through in classroom learning, local farm field trips, and through the 15 school gardens IGS maintains throughout the year. Learn more.

The Mission of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club is to provide quality programs, education, and services to the Island-wide youth population that will prepare them for healthy and productive lives through professionally developed programs that help to develop self-esteem, leadership skills, personal values, and mutual respect, in fun and safe environments. Healthy Families Massachusetts

Healthy Families Massachusetts, is a free and voluntary support program for young, first-time moms and dads across the state. You can sign up for the program during pregnancy and continue up to your child’s third birthday.
